BEGINNER 3 - Details, Closures and a Real Finish

The third and final workshop in the Beginner series. For you who has been through Beginner 1 and 2, or who already feels comfortable at the machine and is ready for the details that make a garment look properly made. Here we tie everything together, calmly and at your own pace, and you'll go home with your very own shirt or column dress, sewn from start to finish.

I'll take care of everything. Fabric, pattern, sewing machines, thread and coffee/tea. You just have to show up.

You'll learn:

• Buttonholes and buttons, or inserting a simple zipper
• Facings and clean finishes at the neckline
• Setting in a sleeve or finishing an armhole
• A tidy inside, so the garment looks good from both sides
• Small adjustments to fit your own body

Project:

A simple shirt or a column dress, sewn by you from start to finish.
This is the workshop where it all clicks. You'll handle the details that usually feel intimidating, buttons, zippers, sleeves, facings, and realise they're all just small steps you already know how to do. By the end of the day you'll have a real garment hanging in your wardrobe, and the skills to sew most simple patterns on your own from here on.

We're only 4 on the team, so I can be there 100% for you all and will be by your side every step of the way.

The workshop is held in calm surroundings at Bentzonsvej 50B, Frederiksberg, just a 3 minute walk from Aksel Møllers Have metro.

If I have to cancel, you'll be offered new dates or a gift card. If you can't make it, I'll happily help you resell your spot. Refunds are not given.
