BEGINNER 2 - Shape, Fit and Your First Garment

The second workshop in the Beginner series. For you who has done Beginner 1, or who already knows your way around a sewing machine and is ready to sew something you can actually wear. Here we take the next step together, calmly and at your own pace, and you'll go home with your very own pair of shorts or a simple blouse, sewn from start to finish.

I'll take care of everything. Fabric, pattern, sewing machines, thread and coffee/tea. You just have to show up.

You'll learn:

• Cutting out a pattern with multiple pieces
• Curved seams and how to handle them without panicking
• Elastic casings or simple pleats at the waistband or neckline
• Reinforced seams and a tidy inside finish
• Hemming on a curved edge

Project:

A pair of simple shorts or an easy blouse/shirt, sewn by you from start to finish.
This is the workshop where sewing starts to feel real. You go from making flat objects to making something with shape, something that fits your body and that you can pull on the next morning. The patterns are forgiving, the techniques are repeatable, and you'll leave with a garment you've made entirely yourself.

We're only 4 on the team, so I can be there 100% for you all and will be by your side every step of the way.

The workshop is held in calm surroundings at Bentzonsvej 50B, Frederiksberg, just a 3 minute walk from Aksel Møllers Have metro.

If I have to cancel, you'll be offered new dates or a gift card. If you can't make it, I'll happily help you resell your spot. Refunds are not given.
